Very nice staff & doctor, quick and painless
Had a colonoscopy here, was a nervous wreck, they were very informative, thorough, and considerate. The doctor I had, Joseph Yoo was very nice, friendly, and took quite a bit of time to see how I was after and explain things. I had some questions and comments and he listened, wasn’t in a hurry to get done w/ me like some doctors might be. They used propofol for sedation anesthesia, and wow, all I remember is the nurse saying they’re administering it now, next thing I know I wake up out near where I started. It literally took less than 10 seconds to kick in, was a bit dizzy after but it quickly passed.
Have felt pretty good the rest of the day so far. It was a very good experience for something that you don’t look forward to, the prep (Plenvu) was worse than the procedure. Very nice and friendly staff & doctors, would recommend to anyone who needs to see a Gastroenterologist.

“I have had multiple colonoscopies done with Dr. Yoo and his staff. The office, waiting room, and recovery area are modern, clean, & organized. And, since it is a small office, rather than a large hospital, you feel very comfortable being there. You receive more personal, one-on-one attention. The staff is vigilant in asking the necessary questions about your history, instructing you on your test-prep, and preparing you for your procedure on the day of the test. They are there to ease your concerns, answer your questions, and clearly explain what will happen during the procedure. Dr. Yoo takes the time to meet with you, post-procedure, to thoroughly explain his findings and what treatments will be done, if necessary. He also tells you when/if you will need to return and how often. When you leave, you feel confident that you were taken care of and informed.
